Research Notes
Previously listed as the child of Samuel Pocock and Fanny Spray, they appear childless in the 1891 census and are anyway too old for a child born in 1889.[7] In the absence of other sources, the death registration offered makes it more likely that she is the daughter of Charles Richard Pocock (born 1863) and Sara Goodwin (born 1866).
