DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Robert by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Robert:

Poe-260 and Poe-1771 appear to represent the same person because: "Hobart" is almost certainly an erroneous transcription of the name "Robert". Census records fail to show any such person in the household of Jesse Poe Jr. The will of Jesse Poe Jr. also identifies each of his children (alive and dead at the time of its writing), and no Hobart is among them. I propose merging Hobart's and Robert's profiles, then deleting the name "Hobart".
I would like to know if "Hobart Poe" could be the "Robert Poe" in the genealogy in the following link?
