Biography

Willie was born on October 3, 1886 in Richland Springs, San Saba County, Texas to parents William P. Poe and Mary Katherine (Jackson) Poe. She married John K. Ribble (1885-1957) on July 19, 1908 in Brown County, Texas. They had 4 children together;

1. Leslie Ferguson Ribble (1910-1910)
2. Katie Pauline (Ribble) Kerr (1911-2001)
3. Lela Mae (Ribble) Sims (1915-1986)
4. Claudia Inez (Ribble) Quarles (1919-2011)

John died in 1957 and Willie died on August 8, 1966 in Mobeetie, Wheeler County, Texas at the age of 79 years. She was buried at the Mobeetie Cemetery located in Mobeetie, Wheeler County, Texas.
