WILLIAM E POFFENBERGER died at 1:45 pm yesterday at his home, 21 N Vermont St, Williamsport, aged 86 years.
He was born and raised in Williamsport, son of the late Joseph and Ann (Embrey) Poffenberger.
He was employed with Byron's Tannery in Williamsport.
He is survived by a son, John, Riverdale; daughter, Annabelle, New York; stepchildren, William Potts, Dean Potts, and George Potts, all of Williamsport; and Mrs. Allen Kees, Hagerstown.
Services Saturday at 2 pm at Leaf Funeral Home in charge of the Rev Paul E Stambach. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Williamsport.
