The 1905 Minnesota State Census for Buffalo Township, Wright County shows Walter as Walter J (not Walter W.) and other siblings Louis A (9 yrs, born MN) and Leo J (6 yrs, born MN). Mother Margaret A appears without husband John. There is also another Pohl family on the next page of the census (potential John's brother)[2]
The 1910 US Census for Buffalo Township, Wright County shows a Walter J (which I believe is the same Walter W) with his mother Margaret remarried to an August Schostag for only 1 year. Also shows other siblings Louis H and Leo J. [3]

Pohl-430 and Pohl-354 appear to represent the same person because: Researching son John brought me across daughter Lydia and realise that we had duplicates.
