Biography
Born in New Orleans to the union of Andre Claude Baptiste Poiret and Francoise le Kintreck. Married Jean Baptiste Filhiol March 15, 1782 at the Opelousas Post. She was the mother of Jean Joseph, Marie Barbe' and Edmond Landry Grammont Filhiol. Died 1825 on the Filhiol Family Plantation in what is now West Monroe. Her headstone is the only one that survives from the destroyed cemetery. It is in the possession of the Filhiol descendants. [1]
