Marcellin Poirier was born about 1866 in Chéticamp, Inverness, Nova Scotia. He was the son of Blaise Poirier and Julie (Unknown).[1] He married Margaret LeBlanc on 13 Jan 1896 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.[2]
