Biography
When François-Evence Poirier was born on May 2, 1839, in Chéticamp, Nova Scotia, his father, Felix-Gracien, was 32 and his mother, Anastasie, was 13. He married Elise Aucoin and they had one son together. He also had three sons and one daughter with Judith-Agnes "Julie" Aucoin. He died in Cheticamp, NS about 1901.
