Biography

When Marguertie Poirier and her twin brother Thomas were born in 1778 in New Brunswick, their father, Joseph, was 41 and their mother, Marguerite, was 36. She married Simon LeBlanc in 1798. They had nine children in 22 years. She died on January 17, 1864, in her hometown, having lived a long life of 86 years.[1]
