Biography

Amand was born in Shediac on 11 May 1833 and later baptized in Grande-Digue.[1][2] He was the son of Simon Poirier and Henriette Arsenault. At age 27 he married Judith Bourgeois in Grande-Digue on 12 Nov 1860. [3][4] At age 56 he married 35 year old Marie-Blanche Léger in Cocagne on 15 July 1889.[5] He passed away at age 64 in Grande-Digue on 2 Jan 1898. [6]
