Alfred, fils de Joseph Poirier et de Geneviève Denise Pitre, est né le 30 octobre 1894 et baptisé "Joseph Alfred Adélard", le lendemain à Bonaventure. Son parrain a été Stanislas Poirier, et sa marraine, Adèle Pitre. [1]
