Biography
Philippe was born in 1833. [1] He is the son of Pascal Poirier and Justine Gallant.
Philippe married Philomène Poirier, daughter of Joseph Poirier and Henriette Gallant, on 7 Jan 1862 in Grande-Digue.[2][3] Their children were:
- Justine Poirier (born 28 Dec 1862)
- André Poirier (born 29 Nov 1864)
- William George Poirier (born 19 Jun 1867)
- Henriette Poirier (born 28 Dec 1869)
He died on 21 Mar 1871 and was buried two days later in Grande-Digue.[4][5] His age noted in the parish register was 37 years.
