Biography

Philippe was born in 1833. [1] He is the son of Pascal Poirier and Justine Gallant.

Philippe married Philomène Poirier, daughter of Joseph Poirier and Henriette Gallant, on 7 Jan 1862 in Grande-Digue.[2][3] Their children were:

  1. Justine Poirier (born 28 Dec 1862)
  2. André Poirier (born 29 Nov 1864)
  3. William George Poirier (born 19 Jun 1867)
  4. Henriette Poirier (born 28 Dec 1869)

He died on 21 Mar 1871 and was buried two days later in Grande-Digue.[4][5] His age noted in the parish register was 37 years.
