Biography

Lisette Poirier was born in about 1772, she was the daughter of Joseph Poirier, "maitre cannonier a bord d'un corsaire français" who died in Tintamarre about 1779. Her mother was Marguerite Lavigne. ^[1]

She married Charles Poirier of Miscouche in about 1789.

Their known children were:

1. Isabelle Poirier (about 1802 – before Jan 13 1886) .
2. Ann Poirier (Jul 10 1810 – after 1881) .
3. Raymond Poirier (1820 – 1911)

Her date of death is unknown.

Annette Cormier, FTDNA kit # 348700, and her maternal line cousin UNK (a direct matrilineal descendant of Therese Ethier), Kit # 241277, have a Genetic Distance = 1 in a position in HVR2 at 309.2C, thereby confirming their direct maternal lines back to their most-recent common ancestor who is Marie Christine Aubois the 8x great grandmother of Annette Cormier and the 9x grandmother of UNK.
