Biography

Marie Anne Poirier was born in 1695 in Beaubassin, Acadia, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her parents were Michel Poirier and Marie Chiasson. She was age 4 on the census of 1698 taken at Beaubassin, Acadie. In the 1700 census she was age 6.[1] Marie was enumerated living in the household of her parents Michel Poirier and Marie Chiasson in Beaubassin from 1698 to 1714.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

She married Francois Doucet on November 20, 1715.[8] [9][1][10] Together they had 7 children:
