Biography
Gabriel Edouard Lorne (Lawrence) Poitras was born 7 Dec 1911 in Grand Falls, New Brunswick and was baptized the same day at the Assumption Parish of Grand Falls. He was the son of Gabriel Poitras and Alice Gauvin.[1][2]
At the age of 25, Gabriel Lorne Poitras married Doris Pelletier, age 23, daughter of Alfred Pelletier and Marie Deschenes 19 May 1937 at the Assumption Parish of Grand Falls. [3][4]There were 6 children of the union.
He passed away 1 Feb 1993 at age 81 and was buried as Gabriel in the Assumption Cemetery of Grand Falls New Brunswick. [5]
