Hermanus Willem Polderman, born 21 November 1843[1] in Velsen, son of Willem Anthonie Polderman and Agatha Anna van Bilderbeek
Hermanus Willem Polderman entered service in May 1868 as a conscript with the 4th Infantry Regiment[2]. In November 1870 he voluntarily transferred to the Colonial Troops[3] of the Dutch army and left for the Dutch East Indies in March 1871. He passed away on 25 January 1873 in Weltevreden[4]
