Biography
- Sir John de la Pole (c.1447-9 March 1380) was the son and heir of Sir William de la Pole, the nephew of his more famous uncle William de la Pole,[1] by Margaret daughter of Sir Edmund Peverel. Sir John married Joan Cobham by contract dated 21 Oct 1362. [2]
- They had one daughter, Joan who succeeded as Baroness Cobham and married Sir John Oldcastle. [2]
- Sir John de la Pole died shortly before 9 March 1380.His widow, Joan [Cobham], died before Jan. 1393/4.[2] They were buried at Chrishall, Essex" [3]
