Elizabeth Jane Pollard was the daughter of John Pollard and Elizabeth Williams born in St Just Cornwall in 1849. She emigrated to Australia with her parents.

In 1870 she married Richard Liddicoat. They lived in Creswick Victoria and had ten children.

In 1907 she received compensation of £150 after the death of one of her sons (possibly Joseph who died in 1907 in Clunes) in a mining accident [1]
