Richard Rowe Pollard was born in Cornwall, England.

Richard Rowe was born on August 9, 1880[1] in Penzance, Cornwall. He was the son of Richard Pollard and Elizabeth Grace Rowe.[2]

Richard Rowe was baptized on 27 August 1880 in Gulval, Cornwall, England[3].

In 1900 Richard Rowe (age about 19) was living in Iron Mountain, Dickinson, Michigan, USA[4].

Richard Rowe died at the age of 22 in 1903 in Iron Belt, Iron Co., Wisconsin. The Bessemer Herald (Bessemer, MI) reported the following: "Richard Pollard, a miner, was killed by an explosion of powder at the Atlantic mine Wednesday of last week. He was preparing the powder for blasting when it exploded for some unknown reason, instantly killing him. Pollard was a young man and his parents reside at Iron Mountain." [5].

Richard Rowe was buried after 23 January 1903 in Iron Mountain, Dickinson, Michigan, United States.
