Ricahard was born in 1790. He passed away in 1851. Graduated from William and Mary College with Bachelor of Civil Law in 1811. Appointed captain 20th Infantry, USA, April 14, 1812. Faought at Craney Island. Promoted major of 21st Infrantry, December 14, 1813. Charge daffaires from the United States to republic of Chili, 1835-1843.
