Biography

Servetus Pollard was born in Cornwall, England.

According to his Christening record, Servetus was born on November 6, 1836. However, his birth registration is for the fourth quarter of 1837, so one is mistranscribed. (Since his baptism occurred in 1838, perhaps 1837 would be better date for birth). He was the son of James Pollard and Elizabeth Jane. The family relocated to Lancashire sometime before 1851. They were enumerated in the 1851 census residing on St James Street, Liverpool. Servetus appears as the oldest of four children.

Servetus married Susanna Edwards on August 15, 1859, in Liverpool, at Saint Nicholas. They were enumerated in the 1861 census residing in the household of mother Elizabeth Pollard. Servetus and Susanna are named as the parents in their son Alfred's christening record in 1861. No other records post 1861 found.
