- It is possible that census-taker confused Thomas' middle name with surname.
- Thomas and his brother Frank, are missing from their father's 1910 census.
- Their father had remarried, and was living with new family in 1910 Oklahoma.
- Thomas' sister Florence is living father & stepmother, but not Thomas & Frank.
- MARRIAGE:
- It is unknown if Thomas ever married.
- Possible wife is Hettie Meredith, per undocumented sources.
- NOTES about possible identity:
- Several family trees show he died in 1922 Okla., and married Hettie Meredith.
- None of these trees have sources, and I cannot find any supporting evidence.
- The same trees show Thomas & Hettie had 3 children; Barnett, Forest, Lealus.
- The 3 children have SS records showing parents as Tom & Hettie.
- But again, no evidence that these children, or that wife, belong to our Thomas.
- A possible connection is the unverified 1910 census, which places Thomas in McCurtain Co., OK. That is also the birth location of Tom & Hettie's first two children (Barnett & Forest). Another connection to McCurtain Co., OK. is the marriage location of Thomas' brother Frank.
