US Black Heritage Project
James Polley is a part of US Black heritage.

James is the son of Peyton and Violet (Justice) Polley.[1] He married Cecelia V. Craddick, daughter of W.P. and Mariah Craddick, on 06 Jan 1881 at Lawrence, Ohio.[2] Among their children are:

  • Estelle, m. 1) Robert Howard, son of Washington and Emma Hamilton Howard, and 2) Walter Green, son of Charles and Rhrea (White) Green;
  • Bessie, b. 20 May 1884[3]

James made his living as a barber in Ironton.
