Granted leave at employer's request to learn diamond cutting 19 Mar to 27 Jun, 1919. Returned to Australia per 'Argyllshire' 2 Aug 1919. Discharged 8 Nov 1919.
Returning home The Week (Brisbane, Qld) 12 Sep 1919 Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Polley, of New Cleveland road, Tlngalpa, have been advised that their second son, Roland Polley, is returning ex the Argylshire, due to arrive Melbourne, 23rd September. Mr & Mrs Polley have had three sons on active Service. When Roland arrives, they will all have returned.
