Discrepancy between state marriage record and family bible record. State marriage record shows marriage date as May 12/19 1798; family bible record shows marriage date as June 7 1798. I am using the date from the family bible record because the state record is merely a marriage bond, where John Pollock paid the governor 500 pounds in order to be allowed to wed.
