Information about Maxie Pollock Hornsby was published in Cornerstone of Georgia, Seminole County 1920-1991, and was writted by Jan Hornsby Godwin. Maxie was born in the Decatur County Courthouse where her father worked as deputy sheriff of Decatur County, GA. She attended West Bainbridge High School and graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1947. She worked with the telephone company in the early 1950's and later worked at the Decatur-Seminole Training Center and Bainbridge High School. Buried Oak City Cemetery, Bainbridge, Decatur County, GA
