Samuel Pollock was born in Queensland, Australia

Samuel Lionel Vincent "Lionel" Pollock was born 5th November 1924 at Bundaberg, Queensland, the son of William John Pollock and Annie Elizabeth Larder. [1] [2]

Marriage. After September 1951, when his fiancée resigned from her nursing position in the New South Wales Public Service, he married Sebbriel Stella Bull, possibly in Queensland.[3]

On 28th May 1952, Sebbriel gave birth to a stillborn baby boy in Kyogle, New South Wales. He was buried in the local Cemetery, Presbyterian portion, Row A Plot 47. [4] [5]

Widowed. Sebbriel died several days later on 1st June 1952, aged just 28. [6]

ABOUT PEOPLE
The death of Mrs. Lionel Pollock, nee Sebbie Bull, took place at Kyogle War Memorial Hospital on Sunday, 1st June. Mrs. Pollock was the daughter of Mrs. Frost, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Whiley, Orange street, Condobolin. [7]

OBITUARY
MRS. LIONEL POLLOCK
The death occurred on June 1 in Kyogle Maternity Hospital, of Mrs. Lionel Pollock (nee Miss Sibbe Bull), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Bull, of Cabramatta). Aged 28 years, the deceased lady was well-known in Cabramatta before leaving for country centres. She had qualified as a nursing sister, and served in a number of hospitals. [8]

Marriage. About 1956, Lionel married Evelyn May "Evie" Meikle, in Queensland.

They had five children but, sadly, three died as babies.

Death. He died 22nd July 1970 at Bundaberg, Queensland, aged 45. [9][10]

Burial. Interred Bundaberg General Cemetery (Section: Lawn L-2A Plot 127) where his memorial details are engraved on one side of a large polished headstone. It reads: [11]
