Biography
Mary Elizabeth (Pollock) Reedy was born on the 19 Aug 1883. [1]
Mary was 24 years old when she married John Patrick Reedy, aged 30 on the 16 June 1908 in Westport, Buller. [2]
They had eight children over the next 16 years. All lived to adulthood.
Mary was 77 years old when she died at the Buller Hospital on the 27 June 1961. [3]
- REEDY, Mary Elizabeth—On September 27. 1961, at the Buller Hospital, Westport, dearly loved wife of John Reedy. 148 Russell street. Westport, and loved mother of Jack and Bill (Westport). Joe (Parnassus). Matt (Palmerston North), Nell (Mrs McKane). Mary (Greymouth). Nora (Mrs Morrison, Hamilton), and the late Catherine; aged 78 years. R.I.P Funeral notice later. [4]
