I am a descendant of Elizabeth (m. Harris) daughter of Henry Pomeroy and Agnes Huckmore (12x gg) who are also shown as the grandparents of Eltweed Pomeroy in the pedigree diagram attached. As of today I have 20 DNA matches with Ancestry members whose lineage takes them back to Eltweed so I am inclineed to believe there is a fairly close link

It appears he had no offspring. See the will extracted at the end of his profile. No children. Apparently, the hand drawn pedigree was fraudulent. Check the two sources attached to that sentence in the profile.

Richard Pomeroy, son of Henry Pomeroy and Agnes Huckmore Pomeroy: Cornworthy DEV gentleman 1621 W ab TOT MUR1 Vol. 25.

His grandmother was Eleanor Coker. This Richard Pomeroy was not the father of Eltwid (Eltweed) Pomeroy bp in Beaminster, Dorset in 1585.

The merge should NOT have happened. I have asked for protection for the Richards. Eltweed's father Richard is not connected to the ancient Pomeroy family. They should be unmerged.
Pomeroy-336 and Pomeroy-181 appear to represent the same person because: I don't know if these are the same or not and there is no creditable evidence shown but since I am bombarded with requests to merge them let's do it.

Pomeroy-344 and Pomeroy-181 appear to represent the same person because: clear duplicate
Pomeroy-336 and Pomeroy-181 are not ready to be merged because: There is nothing apparent in Pomeroy-336 to indicate that he is even in the same century as Pomeroy -181.
