Biography

Mary Ann "Polly" Poole was born March 10, 1799, in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia^[1], the daughter of Nicholas Pool and Nancy Ann Chapman Pool.

She married Josiah Hamilton.

In 1850, they lived in Montgomery County, Georgia with their children Nancy, William, Nicholas, Josiah, Charles, John, Benjamin, Martha Ann, Andrew, and Clarissa Ann^[2].

She died January 16, 1856, in Montgomery County, Georgia and was buried in Hamilton Hill Cemetery, Kibbee, Montgomery County, Georgia^[1].

She was mentioned on the death record of her daughter Martha Ann Palmer in 1921^[3].
