Obituary of Sarah Pool from Religious Telescope Date 16 April 1902
"Brock, Sarah, widow of the late Rev. S.G. Brock, was born in Circleville, Ohio, July 12, 1820, and in 1854, with her husband, moved to Illinois, where he served in the ministry of the United Brethren Church, and proved to be one of the pious crowned with success. She died March 20, 1902, and leaves five sons and two daughters to mourn her departure. She died at the home of her son, Z.H. Brock, one of our prominent citizens of Hobart, Oklahoma. Her body was interred in the Hobart Cemetery. She died rejoicing in her Saviour..." P.H. Lillie, Pastor First M.E. Church.
