David B. Pool, son of William Pool and Jane Beckwith, was born in 1837 in Sandstone Township, Jackson county, Michigan, United States.

About 1860 David wed Caroline Clifford. They had the following known children together:

1. Edward Pool, 1861–1926;
2. Minnie Julia Poole, 1864–1905.

In 1860 David Pool is recorded as being twenty-six years of age and living in Sandstone, Jackson county, Michigan. ^[1]

In 1870 David Pool is recorded as being thirty-three years of age and living in Maiden Rock, Pierce county, Wisconsin; with him are listed wife Carrie Pool and their children Edward Pool and Mennie Pool. ^[2]

In 1880 David Pool is recorded as being fourty-two years of age and living in Red Wing, Goodhue county, Minnesota, where he worked as a sawyer. ^[3]

David B. Pool died in 1895 in Maiden Rock, Pierce county, Wisconsin, United States.
