Biography
Buckner P'Pool was born about 1839 in Kentucky.[1][2][3][4] He was the son of Buckner P'Pool and Matilda Faulkner.[1][2] In 1850, Buckner P'Pool, age 11, lived with his parents and siblings in Christian County, Kentucky.[1] In 1860, Buckner Pool, age 21, was employed as a farm laborer.[2]
B.P. Pool, age 24, was first married 31 May 1863 in Trigg County, Kentucky to 15-year old Nancy Jane Mitchell.[3][5] They had the following known children, all born in Kentucky:
In 1870, Buckner P Pool, age 32, lived in Cadiz, Trigg, Kentucky with wife Nancy and son Benjamin.[4]
In 1880, Buckner P'Pool, age 40, lived in Bethesda, Trigg, Kentucky with his wife and children. He couldn't read or write and was working at a saw mill.[6]
He was married 28 July 1895 to Sarah Blankenship.[7]
His second wife Sarah was recorded in the 1910 U.S. Census (enumerated on 27 Apr 1910) as a widow, so he appears to have died before then.[8] An administrator for his estate was assigned in Caldwell County Court (Kentucky, United States) on 24 Oct 1912.
Descendant and manager of his Find A Grave memorial says that his grave is marked with a plain stone (no inscription) in the Smith Cemetery, Caldwell County, Kentucky, United States.
