Name:

Marion I Poole. Daughter of Douglas Poole Betty Brooks

Born

JUL 1955–SEP 1955. Hampstead, London, England.[1] [2]

Arrival in Australia

November 23 1964 [3]

Marriage and Divorce

Marion married Gregory Wayne Knight 9 April 1983, at 158 Peachey Rd, Elizabeth Fields, South Australia.

They had one child, a son, in 1988.

They divorced 1997.

In 2009, just before my mother’s 80th birthday she brought up the wish to look up her family history. Together we managed to do some, but had limited access to internet. Sadly she never got to do much more. What with the illness and death of her husband (my step-father) followed by the re-occurrence and metastasizing of her cancer, it was abandoned. In 2014 she passed away and only now (2018) do I feel ready to pick it up again. I hope to do her proud and leave a legacy for my son.
