Biography
David was born in 1937.[1] He was the son of Philip Pooler and Marguerite Higgins. He passed away in 2012.[2]
CORINNA – David A. Pooler was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Dexter, and passed away peacefully June 10, 2012.
He served as postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service for many years, was a member of Corinna United Methodist Church, served in the U.S. Marines and in the Maine Army National Guard. He was very active in his community, served as chairman of the board of directors for SAD 48, and recreation director for many years, helped organize many town events and was very active in Scouting. He was dedicated to his family, enjoyed doing home improvement projects and traveling around Maine. He loved listening to polka music and playing the lawn game, Yolf.
He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Marguerite; and brothers, Roger and Robert.[3]
