John was born about 1780. He married Prudence Cory on April 15, 1802 in her "home" parish Jacobstow. He was "of the parish of Whitstone". He signed the parish register and she made her mark X. Witnesses were William Cory and Henry Cory.[1]
John died at the age of 78 in the Stratton Workhouse in Stratton, Cornwall and was buried in Whitstone, Cornwall.[2]
