HANNAH POOR, born at Andover, 15 Jan 1770[1] daughter of Daniel Poor and Hannah Frye;[2] Hannah died at Andover 11 Sep 1861;[3] married at Andover, 24 Apr 1798,[4] her third cousin once removed, EZRA ABBOT, born at Andover, 3 Dec 1760 son of John Abbot and Abigail Abbott;[5] Ezra died at Andover, 22 Jan 1844;[6]
Hannah and Ezra resided at Andover.
In his will written 5 July 1839 and proved 20 February 1844, Ezra Abbot bequeathed to his son Daniel P. Abbot land in Andover known as “Pole’s Hill.” Daughter Hannah Mansfield the wife of Rev. Daniel Mansfield of Wenham receives four hundred dollars. Son Ezra Abbot, of Canton in the County of Norfolk, physician, receives any notes that the father holds against him. His wife Mrs. Hannah Abbot receives use of and improvement of any of the household items she chooses, and the use and improvement of all the buildings and lands wherever they are situated. All the remainder of the estate goes to son John Abbot who is also responsible to pay any just debts. John Abbot is also named executor.[7]
Ezra and Hannah Abbot had six children born at Andover.

iv HANNAH FRYE ABBOTT, b. 16 Jun 1806; d. at Boston, 29 Jun 1862; m. at Andover, 23 Jul 1838, DANIEL MANSFIELD, b. at Lynnfield, 24 Aug 1807 son of Andrew and Eunice (Perkins) Mansfield; Daniel d. at Wenham, MA, 8 Apr 1847.
v EZRA ABBOTT, b. 27 Nov 1808; d. at Canton, MA, 21 Apr 1872; m. at Canton, 23 Dec 1839, HARRIET MOODY LINCOLN, b. at Abington, 1819 daughter of Louis and Mary (Knight) Lincoln; Harriet d. at Canton, 22 Jul 1844.
vi JOHN ABBOTT, b. 9 Feb 1812; d. at Andover, 4 Feb 1881. John was a farmer in Andover. He did not marry. In his will dated 17 Dec 1880, he made disposition of his various properties to siblings, nieces, and nephews. He described his homestead property of 5 ¾ acres lying between Abbot Street and Central Street in Andover and his desire for this property to stay in the family as long as possible.[8]
