DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Daniel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Daniel:
Poorman-111 and Poorman-32 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate profiles for the husband of Maria Barbara Hoffer; father of John Peter Poorman.
The locations on Poorman-111 appear to be incorrect, and there's no information on the profile to indicate where they came from.
If there was a Daniel Poorman who lived and died in Perry County, Ohio, then he would be different than the Daniel Poorman who married Maria Barbara Hoffer, and she should be removed as the wife on Poorman-11, and this merge should be rejected.
Are there any sources besides other family trees available for the Perry County, Ohio locations??
It looks to me like the birth & death information on Poorman-111 are estimated. I suggest putting the merge through and making a note in the Biography that there are discrepancies about the locations until someone has time to research this gentlemen and determine the correct facts.
