Biography
Katherine Ester "Kate" Pope was born on December 25, 1878,[1] in Payne, Paulding County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Sylvanus Pope and Abigail Ballinger. Her father died when she was age 14.
She married Frank James Relue (1878-1928) on June 20, 1899 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.[2] They had 12 children.

They started out married live living with Frank's parent's in Adams, Allen County, Indiana, where in 1900, James worked as a Day Laborer.[4]
By 1910, they had bought a home in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, where he was a Wagon Driver for a Brewery and she was taking care of the home and children, Walace-10, Louis-6, George-4, and Abeigail M-1.[3]
Her husband Frank James passed away on January 29, 1928, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at the age of 49. They had been married 28 years.
She died on May 28, 1931, at the age of 53, in Indiana, and was buried in the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.[1]
