This was her answer to Ada and Nora's suit against Rena dated 6 Dec 1940
Mary Pope Barnevelt's notebook was a half size ledger started in 1908 by JD Barnevelt to list his bank notes and accounts. Mary wrote down everything from pay to laborers, rents and repair to houses, magazine subscriptions, etc.plus a few family remarks. Last date seen is in 1929. Her handwriting is sometimes difficult to understand. I have added them to this record 18 Apr 2008 LHM
