When Elizabeth POPE was born on July 20, 1733, in Kent, Maryland, her father, Charles, was 28, and her mother, Mary, was 23. She married Daniel Hammond in 1752. They had six children in 23 years. She died in 1815 in Rostraver, Pennsylvania, having lived a long life of 81 years.
