Biography
Thomas Stewart Pope was born on February 17, 1822, in Larue, Kentucky, his father, Abraham, was 27 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 23.
He married Amanda Cox first. Amanda passed in 1878.
He married Margaret Craig Huey before 1880 (based on Margaret as his wife on 1880 census).
In 1880 Thomas and his second wife Margaret were living in Illinois with five children and 2 step-children. [1] According to this census he was born about 1822 in Kentucky.
