Husband: John Pope
Wife: Mrs. John Pope
Child: Sarah Pope

Born in 1555.

Arborist's Note: His death in 1578 (if it is correct) precludes the birth of his son in 1580. Also, his two marriages seem to overlap. Also his wife Patience did not die in Kentucky in 1585.[1]

There is something definitely off here. John Pope didn't live to be 123. Two of these children were born after he died. There are a couple of John Pope's in Massachusetts, but I doubt this man is one of them.

A father's death date should not be more than nine months before one of his children's birth dates.
