Minnie was born in 1911. She was the daughter of Lee Pope and Mary Wike. On 27 Jan 1944 she married Julius Hobert Martin (b. 1895 - d. 1969; s/o Julius Martin and Alice Patterson). They had at least one child, daughter Wanda (1947-2019). She worked as a child care provider, watching children in her home. Eventually Minnie and Julius divorced. Minnie passed away in 1997 from chronic ischemic heart disease. She is buried in the Taylorsville City Cemetery.
