Biography
William was born on 2 February 1795 in Calais, Maine (Washington). He was the son of Joseph Hayden Porter and Betsy (Marks) Porter.[1]
When William was about 28 he married Mary Martin in about 1824.
William died at the age of 66 on 30 May 1861 in St. Stephen, Charlotte, New Brunswick, Canada.[1]
William was buried after 30 May 1861 in St Stephen Rural Cemetery, Saint Stephen, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada.[2]
