Cornelius was born to Katherine Porter shortly before she married Jacob Waller Jr. Cornelius took the Waller name, but later changed his last name to Porter since he was raised by his maternal grandparents, John and Martha Porter. The 1821 birth year of Cornelius also matches the court case of Catherine Porter, Plaintiff, against Jesse McGuire, Defendant, on a charge of bastardy.

Porter-830 and Porter-5253 appear to represent the same person because: I believe BOTH of these profiles are correct and represent the same man. He is also my gg-grandfather. All the details fit with information I have gathered over the years.
