Biography

Rice Carter Portwood, born 5 Oct 1879 in Versailles, Woodford County, Kentucky, United States was the son of George W. Portwood and Frances S. Searcy. He died May 1965 (aged 85) in Boone County, Missouri, United States and was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri, United States. [1]

In 1900 Rice, 21 was living in the household of his sister, Mary Ellen Divers (nee Portwood) and brother-in-law, James D. Divers in Round Prairie Township, Callaway, Missouri, United States. [2]

On 17 Apr 1904 Rice Portwood married Maude Guy in Callaway, Missouri, United States. [3]
