The wife of William Holland, may be the daughter of Shadrack Dees.
see 1820 census also.

p. 96; p. 185; p. 351 (Three different page numbers.)
Abraham Posey age 16 to 25.
two males under 10. Who are these two males under 10?
one female 16 to 25 (This appears to be Rachel.)
Rachel's maiden name may be Seigler.
In this 1810 Barnwell County census, (same page as Abraham Posey) are three Seigler families: George, David and another David.
p. 351
Mary Dees, age 26 to 44, and family. (I have not identified Mary Dees, yet.)
__________
April 5, 1815, Abraham Posey purchased 142 acres, Barnwell County:[3]
This 142 acres is located on the south side of the Edisto River on Beaverdam Creek.
This 142 acres purchased from Moses Smith. This land was part of Benjamin Kirkland plat of 252 acres on Beaverdam Branch and Little Pond Branch, July 21, 1788, Orangeburgh District. Surveyed by Nathaniel Abney May 3, 1787.
This Nathaniel Abney (died about 1787) appears to be the father of Jean Jane (Abney) Posey.
Benjamin Posey age 45 and up. (Who is this Benjamin?)
one male 16 to 25.
two females under 10.
one female 45 and up (Wife)
This Benjamin Posey does not appear to be Benjamin Bryant Posey born about 1795. Because Benjamin Bryant Posey's wife, Delilah, would also have been about age 25 or less in 1820.
p. 10-B
Humphrey Posey age 45 and up.
two males 26 to 44.
one female 45 and up (Wife, likely.)
p. 10-B
William Holland age 26 to 44.
numerous children listed here.
one female age 26 to 44. (Is this female, the daughter of Shadrack Dees?)
Shadrack Dees died 1797 in Edgefield County. Shadrack's other daughter, Rebecca Dees (1775-1795?), supposedly is the first wife of Nehemiah Posey, Jr. (1769-1843).

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Abraham by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Abraham:
Thanks Teresa, I removed Abraham Posey's Findagrave 146752008. I just like to put various possibilities until these Poseys are correctly identified. According to "Historical Southern Families" Nehemiah Posey, Jr's (1769-1843) first wife was Rebecca Dees. So, either "Historical Southern Families" is incorrect; or the Findagrave information is incorrect.
Hello, This profile, and Posey-1915, have exact same find a grave, and same birth/death dates. I would suggest a merge but the parents are different and the last name of the wife is different. Should the find a grave be removed from this one because the parents do not match? Or, change find a grave to sameas=no and make a note that parents are suspected to be wrong on find a grave (I see they are marked confident on this profile). Thank you for reviewing, Teresa Downey
