Esquire was born in 1840. He is the son of Seborn Posey and Susan Weathers. Year: 1850; Census Place: Beat 10, Randolph, Alabama; Roll: M432_14; Page: 353B; Image: 147. He served in the Confederate Army in the 24th Infantry in 1862.
