On 7 Nov 1796 Jeremiah Rood and his wife Abigail of Hebron sold land to Elijah Mann including land given to Abigail from her father’s estate bounded by Israel Kellog and Jemima Phelps.[7]
According to the DAR supplement for Jeremiah Rood, he married second Abigail Post Phelps who was born 13 Sep 1757 in Hebron, Connecticut and died April 1835. She was the daughter of Israel and Phebe Post and the widow of Martin Phelps.[8] Jeremiah and Abigail had no children.
